My fave city so far!! The city is just so beautiful and very photogenic! :P
Toulouse - 06/05/2016
06.00 - Arrive in Toulouse! Very very sleepy and hungry! Went out from the station, and walk around to find place to eat.
07.00 - Subway is open! YEAY! went inside, order some food and chill....
10.00 - Finally decide to get our ass up and walk around Toulouse... anddddd, what do you know, the city is actually very prettyyyyy!!! This end up being my fave city from the entire trip! Even though at first we have to walk through some 'shady' places - if you know what i mean. Nevertheless, when we got to the city center, everything is very beautiful!! We bought pastries here, while walking around like a lost tourist hahha. The city is apparently called 'The Pink City', because... the buildings are pink! (Although it's more cream/salmon color rather than pink :P) We enjoyed it so much, to the point when we realize it's time to go back to the bus station, we underestimated where we are and the distance back to Gare Routiere --'.
13.30 - Arrived at Gare Routiere (Bus station), after running while carrying bags (afraid of missing the bus), we're pretty exhausted when we reached there. Relieved that we still got 30 more min before the schedule, we've got time to breathe. Thank God hahha.
14.00 - FlixBus come and we get into it. Note: This bus is sooo much better than Megabus!! Better wifi, better seats (more space for your feet), better air circulation!
16.00 - There's snow mountain!! (apparently this is the french alpen - pyrenes)
17.00 - Arrived in Tarbes, now searching and waiting for bus to Lourdes. Found out that we just missed it, gta wait an hour. So we decided to walk a bit around the city. Was not really impressed by Tarbes, but find some interesting part of the city regardless.
18.15 - Enter the bus to Lourdes. It was 15 min later than the schedule, apparently the driver is new (forgivable :P).
19.00 - Finally arrive in Lourdes!! Man, what a long road going to this pilgrimage city!
19.05 - Checked in to our airbnb which is located nearby the train station. Decided to just take a bath and rest.
