Naoussa - Paros, A fishing village that looks like a highly curated town!

Nevermind the horrible experience by the arrival port in Parikia, the capital of Paros. (It's just ergh...) It's soooo bad, chaotic, unorganized, soooooo many people (and it's not even the peak of holiday season huh), and don't even mention about the bus. It's not clear which bus is which, and as soon as a bus came, swarm of people just bombarded into, it really feels like getting into busses during rush hour in Jakarta --'. As if Athens public transport is not enough to proof the point of Greek transit system... *sigh*

Anyhow!! All those bad mood got washed away as soon as we arrived in this little fishing town called Naoussa. It is just BEAUTIFUL! It's breathtaking, and just sooooo cozzyyyyy, warm, cute! People are very friendly, and most importantly, another HEAVEN for shopping!! They sell a lot of great greek products, very high quality and artisanal. I must say, it almost feels like the whole town is 'curated'. 😆

From Naoussa, there are some beaches you can go to both walking or taking the bus (this time not as bad as before). I think I enjoyed staying in this town the most, our homestay is also very cute, it's one of those traditional white houses that pops in your head when you think about Greek Cyclades islands. Except, unlike Santorini and Mykonos, Paros is waaayyy cheaper! Originally we thought about visiting those islands for a day trip, but after experiencing how complicated transit is + how expensive ferry ticket can be... we passed. And with a beauty like Naoussa, No regret what so ever!

Look at the golden color of the sunset reflected on the white houses!!

Aren't they so sweet?
